About the Role:

This is your chance to showcase your culinary skills and leadership abilities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You’ll work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure the consistency, quality, and creativity of our dishes.


Culinary Expertise:

  • Master the preparation and presentation of dishes assigned to your station, adhering to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
  • Oversee the daily preparation and organization of your designated station.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain consistent flavour profiles and plating techniques across all orders.
  • Remain updated on current culinary trends and techniques, continuously honing your skills.

Leadership & Teamwork:

  • Lead by example, maintaining a positive and productive work environment for your team. Provide guidance and support to junior members of the kitchen staff, fostering their culinary development.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues across all stations, ensuring seamless kitchen operations.

Operational Excellence:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient workflows within your station.
  • Assist with ordering and inventory control, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.



Operational Excellence.

  • Assist in overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations to ensure smooth functionality, efficiency, and consistency in food preparation and service.
  • Uphold and enforce high standards of hygiene, safety protocols, and sanitation in the kitchen, prioritizing the well-being of the team and guests.
  • Ensure food preparation and presentation adhere to the specifications of the Head Chef’s menu.
  • Collaborate with the team to implement innovative strategies that improve workflow efficiency and operational effectiveness.

People Management.

  • Foster open communication and collaboration within the kitchen team to exceed culinary expectations and maintain service standards.
  • Motivate and mentor kitchen staff, empowering them to elevate food quality and deliver exceptional service.
  • Assist in developing training programs to enhance culinary skills and nurture a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Profitability Management.

  • Assist with analysing kitchen-related financial reports, controlling food costs, and maximizing profitability while effectively managing kitchen budgets.
  • Implement strategies to optimize food revenue and control kitchen expenses, ensuring the team meets and exceeds culinary objectives.

Collaboration & Representation:

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination between kitchen operations and other areas of the venue.
  • Act as a representative of the kitchen, fostering effective communication with suppliers, culinary partners, and internal stakeholders.
