Every month, from 6pm to 9pm, BAM turns one of its rooms into an open karaoke night for anyone who fancies it. Songs everyone knows, and strangers who won’t stay strangers for long.
Your £15 ticket includes:
- 2 hours of open-room karaoke
- 1 complimentary drink
- (and some rather unforgettable company…)
A night thought through, start to finish.
1. The welcome drink
6pm – 7pm: A drink is on us from the moment you walk in. No queue, no fuss, no card machine shoved in your face. It’s our way of saying: tonight, you’ve nothing to worry about. Take your time, find your feet, soak up the room. The night doesn’t really start until you’re ready anyway.
2. Open karaoke session
7pm – 9pm: No auditions. No judges. Absolutely no need to carry a tune. The idea is simple: a playlist full of songs everyone knows by heart, a private room, and a microphone that does the rounds. Sing from your seat or take centre stage — entirely up to you. Something rather odd happens after a couple of choruses: you completely forget you didn’t know anyone when you walked in.
3. After-party at the bar
9pm – 00am: The mics go away. The bar takes over. The lights shift, the volume creeps up, and the very same room that was belting out power ballads five minutes ago turns into a proper after-party. You won’t want to leave — and frankly, there’s no reason to. The kind of late night you never plan and always remember.
