Sing Away the January Blues on Blue Monday
On 20th January, we’re opening our doors to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. Join us at BAM for some karaoke therapy in a space to connect, sing, and relax with friends or meeting new ones, with all of our karaoke rooms for just £5! We’re here to listen, whether it’s to a song or a conversation.
Sing the Blues Away at BAM
Did you know that singing has proven benefits for mental health? It helps lower cortisol, relieves stress, and releases endorphins and oxytocin, natural mood boosters that can reduce anxiety and improve wellbeing. At BAM Karaoke Box, we believe in the power of music to bring people together and create moments of joy, especially on days that can feel heavy, like Blue Monday.
For each room sold for January 20, 2025, £5 per person will be donated to Campaign Against Living Miserably, (Charity number 1110621 in England & SC044347 in Scotland). CALM Charity (Campaign Against Living Miserably) is a suicide prevention charity on a mission to help people end their misery, not their lives. BAM will also be taking donations on the day.
What we offer
We want to treat you all with:
- £5 karaoke all day (even in our biggest rooms, you just have to fill the space!)
- £2 Happiest Hour (A selection of plates, pints & pours, mocktails too of course!) from 6-7pm
- FREE Mindhouse mindfulness activities
- FREE Open Mic night with our Host from 7pm onward
- A chance to relax and connect with others in a welcoming and supportive space
BAM is a safe and inclusive space for everyone. We believe karaoke is for everyone and singing really has a positive impact on your wellbeing, mental health and creates a fun social space. If you’re not in group you’re still welcome to visit alone and participate.
